I would like to take a moment to say what a great person I got to know in my music travels. He was definitely an influence who drummed for one of my favorite bands, Crowbar and other kick ass bands like Machine Head, Crisis, Debris Inc and singing in 80’s thrash band Papsmear! Tony was also someone to talk to about food, mobster and biker stuff and even life’s ups and downs. We clicked when we first spoke on the phone back in the mid 2000’s after being Myspace friends. He lived in Vegas at the time when I was residing in semi-nearby Mohave County, AZ. He wanted to jam back in 2011 but I was in a financial bind and could not commute at the time. I instead introduced him to Wes Caley (ex-Exhumed/Uphill Battle) when they both lived in LA so they could form a new band that almost happened. I wish I was there to check that out. He was always respectful yet had a toughness to him. A true Italian metal head. Damn it, I was thinking about him recently with his health during this pandemic especially. Then the bad news came. I miss him already and all the funny, happy, sad and crazy real things we talked about. He even told me that he had my back, that made me feel important. I can’t thank you enough for getting to know you. Hope you are at peace. Love and respect, bro!
